Transcription of a copy of a letter from the Rev. J.-A. Allard, East-Bathurst, to the Hon. L. P. D. Tilley, premier. – 23 March 1934. – 1 p. of textual records. Allard states that Tilley’s letter arrived too late for him to act on it during the appointed week and explains it is hard to get away from Bathurst during Holy Week because of parish work. He apologizes for the wording of his letter to Tilley, explaining that “conditions here are provoking and our responsibility and worry are daily increasing”.
